hi my name is Palesa Nthako, I am a 15 year old tenth grader and I'm from Africa. I really would love to school and study overseas and do nanosciences because it so scerse in South Africa. But the problem is my parents cannot afford it, so I was wondering are they any companies that offer scholarships for kids like me
All I want to do is to work hard to make a better life for me and my family so that I can also help other learners like me. I really want to do nanosciences and study medicine and become a Doctor. I always pray to God about it and I know that one day my prayers will be answered. If anyone knows anything about scholarships please contact me
my telephone number is 056 218 2576

My husband and I decided early on in our relationship, even before marriage that we would not send our children to boarding school. My husband attended boarding school all of his school years while his parents were missionaries in Brazil. His first school as a youngster was one he only attended during the daytime and then later on went to an official boarding school where he lived apart from his parents, only seeing the at Christmas and summer holidays. Although he has a great relationship with his parents, and was not damaged or does not begrudge any of it there were definitely results that have impacted his life. I would say one of the best things my husbands parents did that made a huge difference to him was when he came home for holiday the people of the church, those he ministered to etc knew that his dad was going to take time to just focus on his family and make his son a priority regardless of what was going on. It taught my husband that although his parents had to make many sacrafices, one being sending him to boarding school, they were not willing to sacrafice their family for the ministry. The interesting part to us as adults is that his parents are the ones that have the most regrets and feel like they lost time getting to truly know their son as he grew. That has to be a consideration as well. Like mentioned whatever God calls you to He will be faithful to provide for, we know that. We are just grateful that we do not have to make such a heart wrenching decision. I imagine it is very difficult.
