I hope each of you have a wonderful day as you celebrate the love that God has blessed you with in your life! I bet many of you will be going on nice dates and having lovely dinners. Enjoy! My husband and I are celebrating here in very snowy Finland as we wait for our visas to be processed. Since we don’t have a babysitter around, we’re going to make a nice gourmet Italian dinner (gotta love Finland’s amazing grocery stores!) here at our temporary home, and then plan to enjoy a fun romantic movie after the kiddos go to bed. Are you doing anything special to celebrate? Also, please take a moment to share one of the things that you love most about your husband!
Unfortunately our internet situation here isn’t working out too well, so I may end up taking a semi-forced break from blogging for the next couple of weeks. I look forward to sharing more posts from the other contributors and myself in the near future. In the meantime, I’ll spend some extra time praying for you ladies, each of whom are serving so faithfully all across the globe!

I love how God has created my husband to be artistic and creative and a deep thinker. I love that he is a strong protector, yet that he loves and appreciates beauty at the same time. I love how he seeks God and desires to love me with Christ-like love!
I love how understanding he is. His heart is beautiful. He’s pretty easy on the eyes, too. wink wink.
I gave him a homemade card as we await the book I ordered him. He gave me aerated pizza pans. Awesome!
I made a nice artery cloggin meal of lasagna and double fudge cake.
I love how God created my husband to be honest, has shown me Christ’s forgiving love, and seeks truth. He also makes me laugh and rest when I least expect it.
For V-day, we’re all sick, so we got McDonald’s take out, lit a candle at home, and enjoyed some heart-shaped red rice krispie treats. He surprised me with a “we love mommy because type” song on the guitar with our little guy dancing around a pie tin on the living room floor.
