Yep, Karen, we’ll be having our baby here. It is my first time giving birth in Russia, so everything is new to me! We found a good clinic and I like my doctor, so that is good. Cahleen, I am with you on the whole wading through pregnancy/preparing for childbirth in a different culture! It’s an adventure and a great opportunity to learn a lot and walk by faith!

We’re expecting our first in March (wow, not much time left) and we’ll be staying here in Taiwan for the birth. Being pregnant and getting ready to give birth in another country has been quite and adventure, especially when one comes up against all the traditions and superstitions held by many of the local people regarding birth and pregnancy. I’d be interested to read about other missionary moms’ experiences! =)
